3 U.S. students imprisoned in Egypt who are set to go home

(CNN) -American student who was arrested during protest Egypt’s last scheduled to arrive home in Missouri on Saturday night, his father said.

Derrik Sweeney is one of three American students who were detained in Cairo on Monday. Sweeney, Gregory Porter and Luke Gates released from police custody Friday, a lawyer for one of the guys said.

Students set to board a separate commercial flight to return home, according to Sweeney’s mother, Joy Sweeney.

Theodore Simon, an attorney for Porter’s family, saying “her parents anxiously awaiting return.”

Three arrested after being accused of throwing a Molotov Cocktail in the recent fighting which had mentioned the country since last week. Their release was ordered Thursday.
