POWDER Room CHALLENGE: After Hurricane Katrina devastated their House almost 40 years, Carlo and Louana DeMatteo decided to move to the West Bank. “We lived in New Orleans, and we never think about moving here, but a friend of my husband lived in this neighborhood, and it is a beautiful area,” said Louana DeMatteo.
Start the renovation ride DeMatteo Marrero his house, which eventually brought him into the guest bathroom downstairs.
“I knew I wanted to be a bright and cheerful, as there is no window,” he said.
DeMatteo was called artist friend, Marshall Harris, painting murals patterned after the City Park.
